Die Sicherheits-Cuttermesser von OLFA bieten sowohl Sicherheit auf höchstem Niveau, als auch Komfort. Es gibt dabei verschiedene Sicherheitsmechanismen, die mit einer Manipulations-Sicherung geschützt sind. Bei dem Cuttermesser SK-8 schiebt sich die Klinge zurück, sobald kein Kontakt zur Schnittoberfläche mehr besteht. Cuttermesser SK-10 besitzt eine besondere Form, damit selbst bei ausgezogener Klinge die Verletzungswahrscheinlichkeit gegen 0 geht. Die restlichen Cuttermesser besitzen den Standardmechanismus: Sobald der Schieber losgelassen wird zieht sich die Klinge zurück. Dennoch liegen auch hier Unterschiede im Detail: SK-6 besitzt eine zusätzliche Schutzschiene, SK-7 ist das kompakteste Safety-Messer und SK-9 ist mit einem Packbandspalter bestückt. Der Bestseller unter den Sicherheits-Cuttermessern ist SK-4.
